The monthly fee includes a home-cooked, three-course lunch with tea or coffee served in the dining room. This is available Monday to Friday, except on Bank Holidays.

The lunch is prepared by our professional staff from fresh, local ingredients. This year we have had an excellent crop of blackcurrants and gooseberries in the soft fruit garden and they will feature on the menu over the coming months.  The menus are varied and although we usually have a roast one day and fish on a Friday, we also do special menus to mark dates such as St George’s Day and Burns’ Night.

Our Christmas Lunch for residents is a five-course traditional meal. It is usually held in the week before Christmas so that residents going away over the festive period can celebrate with other members of the community.

If a resident would like to invite family and friends to celebrate a special birthday, we can provide appropriate catering. Strawberry teas on the terrace are very popular.
